PERSONALIZED NUTRITION
DietWise offers personalized and comprehensive nutritional advice
related to health and weight management for all age groups.
Optimized Nutrition
Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, diet can help to reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce risk of chronic diseases (like heart disease, cancer and diabetes), and promote overall health. The key is to consume a variety of foods from all food groups, in the right proportions so the body can get all the macronutrients (carbohydrate, protein and fat) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) it needs to function properly. Though basic healthy eating principles apply to most people, the way these apply to each one varies significantly.
What could be considered healthy for one doesn’t necessarily mean that the same can be applied to another!

Weight loss management
Inspired by the Mediterranean diet, we focus on getting back to the basics, giving emphasis on the vast variety of foods you can eat instead of imposing restrictions. When it comes to weight loss we use an individual approach, taking into account your food and lifestyle habits, rather than the conventional “one size fits all” approach. Working together through your weight loss journey we can ensure you get all answers to your questions along with guidance, accountability and support so you can feel your best.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and the Low FODMAP Diet
Evidence from latest research indicates that a Low FODMAP* diet ( a diet low in fermentable carbohydrates) can improve overall IBS symptoms in up to 76% of patients. Being specialized on the low FODMAP diet we can help you successfully identify problematic FODMAP groups and identify the type and amount of FODMAPs tolerated. Since the diet is very restrictive we can ensure that your diet is balanced, nutritionally adequate and works for you in the longer term. If FODMAPs are not your triggers we are able to work with you on other dietary triggers to improve your IBS symptoms.
*FODMAP: Fermentable Oligosaccharides Disaccharides And Polyols
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
During pregnancy the maternal diet must provide sufficient nutrients to meet the mother’s usual requirements as well as those of the growing foetus and stores for use during the third trimester and lactation. We work closely with mothers or mothers to be, by providing nutritional education and guidance before, during and after pregnancy to ensure they get all the essential nutrients they need and avoid any deficiencies or any medical complications that may occur during these periods. We offer nutrition plans that fit your lifestyle and can help you get back to shape.

Sports Nutrition
Optimal nutrition ensures the best platform for sporting success at whatever level is practiced- from fueling to recovery, muscle building to weight making. Our main focus is to enhance performance and recovery within a framework that also promotes long-term health. Using an individual approach we can ensure you receive a nutrition plan and invaluable information on diet tailored to your specific lifestyle, exercise and recovery requirements, whether you exercise for general health and fitness, or you are an athlete.
Veganism and Vegetarianism
Following a vegetarian or a vegan/plant-based diet is a healthy way of eating when done properly. There are a variety of nutrients that are often not consumed adequately by vegetarians/vegans. Some of the common micro-nutrients include iron, vitamin B12 and iodine. Meeting protein requirements is also often a challenge for those following the diet. We offer nutritional advice regarding alternative foods that you can consume so as to help you reach your nutritional requirements.
